This is so true - J woke up and told me he was up so it was time for me to get up. I turn on Disney like the good Mother I am and go fix a great big cup of espresso - since plan coffee just does not enough caffeine...

The wait is over! Tonight is the start of Grey's Anatomy and I am so excited! But E has a softball game and he wants us there - ahhh thank goodness we have a vcr! I will be the good wife and go watch them loss anoher game!! I guess it is better so I can fast forward through the ads!

long time

I guess I should update this - not that anyone reads it but
K is sitting up pretty good now. She will fall over it is kinda funny but she is really trying!
J is happy to back in Mom's day out he learned how to skate this past wednesday. I can't wait till it is my week to help so I can see him do it - they skate every wednesday.
Another birthday has past and I don't feel older so that is good! Thanks to A and H for the massage - I can't wait to use that.
I did start back at WW so I am ready to see this baby weight go.

We are done with our Summer of travel. Texas - Florida - Texas - Tenn - then the in-laws from Colorado came in a very busy 3 weels and I am ready for the next week to be slow!

Just another day

Things are going great, except it takes me 2 hours to get ready and get out of the house - when the hubby is around it may even take longer! How do people do it? I have a whole new respect for working mothers!!! My sister-in-laws are supermoms!!
C is doing great she is getting bigger and for th epassed 3 nights she has slept for 4 plus hours in a row, last night it was 5.
OK I have a 2 year old rapping a dog collar around my arm telling me he is pulling me so I need to play with trucks before I have no arm left!

Easter outfit

It is funny I have tons of clothes thanks to my sister-in-laws yet nothing fits her - she is starting out to be a true female from the start!
Don't get me wrong I do love my tiny babies!

The night before

I have to say it is really weird going to bed knowing tomorrow I will have another baby. J is sooo excited about getting a sister but the poor thing has no idea what is about to happen to his little world! He is excited about staying with my parents tonight so that is good!

It only took 3 years and a lot of complaining but my house is now a 3 bathroom house like we bought.

What is Sprengel's deformity???

You would never know unless we told you or you saw him with no shirt on...


Sprengel's deformity is a condition where the scapula (shoulder blade) on one or both sides are underdeveloped (hypoplastic) and abnormally high. It is due to failure of descent of the scapula during embryonic development from its position in the neck to its normal position in the posterior thorax.. It happens usually in girls, and may have a genetic basis in some instances.
What does your doctor do about it?
X-rays to determine the severity of the Sprengel's deformity are necessary, as well as to rule out any neck or spinal abnormalities. Tests to rule out visceral abnormalites are also important. The child should also be checked for limb length discrepancies and muscle weakness. In mild cases, where cosmesis is not a major problem, and there is no restriction of shoulder abduction or muscle weakness or associated problems, regular follow-up is all that is necessary.

Our case is very slight so there is nothing that needs to be done. We will follow up with Drs for the next 2 years to see if there is any change. So far we are unable to find it in any family memeber.

baby update

I went to the Dr yesterday....
everything went fine - strong heart beat and good movement.
Next appointment in 2 weeks!
if I make it to that appointment i would have carried her longer then I carries little man for.

Babo is gone!

I think little man has given up his babo for good! That is his pacifer - how did he get babo out of pacifer we will never know but he has not used it to sleep with in 4 nights and this is the 5th day without it - even at school he takes a nap with out it!
We told him we left it at my mom's house and it was too late to go get it. The next night he wanted to call her and see where it was - she told him it was too late to go get it- he was alright with that answer. Now we are telling him the puppies chewed it up (he does not ask which puppies) but so far today he has not asked for it at all!! So cross your fingers there will be enough time between him giving it up and new baby coming - maybe new baby will not take one!!

Little man ready for a birthday party on 3/4/06

totally Monday

Well yet another Dr and still waiting to find out what is causing the shoulders to be off set.
We do know that is not scoliosis so that is good. The Dr wants to see him in 6 months to see if it is getting worse are changing at all. We are now going to see another Dr - we should know tomorrow when and were. This will make the 3rd specialist!
Last night I turned blue after choking on some water - did not like that too much. But the baby is moving very good so nothing to worry about. I think I am starting to nest - I used the spotBot to get stains out of the carpet today and then cleaned up the babies room - then peanut woke up and that was that.
What made today a Monday was we were sent to the wrong Dr. office because we were giving the wrong # and the insurances website had the wrong location for this Dr! We were 45 minutes late!!
Tonight will be the 3rd night with out his pacifer so cross your fingers we could be done with that!!

Frustration with the chil'ren

I give in

I give in... all my sister-in-laws are using these things to keep in touch so I thought I would jump on the band wagon!

I don't know how exciting this will be my life can repeat itself - what am I saying I have a 2 year old the only thing that is the same everyday is the DVDs we watch - I can repeat many sayings off Toy Story, Nemo and Robots.

Today I had my 33 week check up - the baby is doing good strong heartbeat! She is living in my ribs now - just the right side so I can push her out of the way most of time. The funny part about todays check-up is the Dr said I would not go past 38/39 week - he list the dates to be induced if she does not come on her own (our son came at 36.6) The dates were the 11, 12, and 13 of April - what is funny about that - My older brother and newphew (my younger brothers 1st born) were both born on the 12th! If I have this baby on the 12th then each family will have a birthday that day!!
